To satisfy that growing hunger or thirst, cafes and restaurants line the harbor to enjoy a meal or drink while watching the ships come and go.
Special events such as the Lobster Fest held here every year, add to the fun. This year the festival runs September 19, 20, and 21st, and offers entertainment all three days, a weekend of fun for all.
Across the way is Botanica and Mexilatin Gifts adding more variety to your day of shopping. Moving down the way is the Botanica which has been in the village for 12 years and caters to psychic related items.
Further down the walk, Wing's Oriental Gifts offers gifts from the Orient.Wing's Oriental Gifts has also been a long time resident of Ports O Call and visiting that shop always brings back those good memories of times past.
Situated almost perfectly in the center of the line of village shops, and just in time for the proverbial "coffee break", is the Boardwalk Cafe and Grill.
The newly remodeled Grill offers the best ribs on the Waterfront that you can enjoy on their outside patio facing the Harbor.
With your choice of ribs, charbroiled burgers, fresh salads and more, enjoy your choice of beverage or a glass of wine or beer inside or out on the deck.
Recently I enjoyed one of their huge turkey breast sandwiches and it was delicious!! It was a beautiful afternoon on the waterfront which added to the overall pleasure of the meal.
It too, is one of the original shops and a must see. Towards the end of the village, you will find the Helicopter Rides and the EuroSail Boat Rentals & Yacht Charters. Sand Dollar Diving, Fiesta Harbor Cruises, Sport Fishing, and whale watching adventures can also be found along this portion of the waterfront. Around the corner from the Helicopter Rides, a coffee house is in the process of moving in and may be now up and running--updates to follow!!If you would like to know about upcoming events at Ports O'Call Village, please sign my guest book below so I can email you event updates.
