For a day trip, you can enjoy a harbour cruise through the Spirit Cruises , the Fiesta Harbor Cruise , or at 22nd Street Landing.

Spirit Cruises offers the only dinner cruise of the LA Harbor, featuring a two and a half Sunset Cruise with menus of chicken, prime rib and salad selections.

See the local sights in the harbor and along the coast or watch the whale migration between December and March, with one of the whale watching adventures.

Also available is the Catalina Island cruise on the Catalina Express, for year round enjoyment with 30 round trips made daily.

Once on Catalina Island , lodging is available at over 35 hotels for extended trips. On the island there are unique restaurants and shops to while away the day.

This August, the Tall Ships from all around the world came to gather and preen for all to see in the Port of Los Angeles for the 2008 L.A Festival of Sail!!
