For a fun cruise vacation, the World Cruise Center
San Pedro is the largest facility of its kind on the West Coast and is home port to Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line, and
Norwegian Cruise Line.
Destinations include Hawaii, the Mexican Riviera, the Caribbean, and Alaska. The Pride of Hawaii
is shown docked here.
Other cruise lines that call at the Port of Los Angeles include Carnival Cruise lines, Celebrity Cruises, Disney Cruise Line, and Holland America Line.
Spirit Cruises offers the only dinner cruise of the LA Harbor, featuring a two and a half Sunset Cruise with menus of chicken, prime rib and salad selections.
See the local sights in the harbor and along the coast or watch the whale migration between December and March, with one of the whale watching adventures.
Also available is the Catalina Island cruise on the Catalina Express, for year round enjoyment with 30 round trips made daily.
Once on Catalina Island, lodging is available at over 35 hotels for extended trips. On the island there are unique restaurants and shops to while away the day.
Any day of the week, port visitors can observe the port's daily operations or just take stroll around the marina and Ports O' Call Village.
It is fun to watch the comings and goings of the cargo ships or the huge cruise ships leaving or coming back to port.
Stroll along the marina, enjoy the shopping and eat at your choice of many fine unique restaurants.
